My sweetheart thought this was the perfect purse size watercolor kit!

He is so right, I take it everywhere..

I also make sure to stock up on Hi-tec pens whenever I'm close to a kinokuniya bookstore.

Have you guys ever tried Raw Cacao? I had a raw brownie from Whole foods last night. Drove 3 hours home from a whole day in Carmel by the sea and still had energy to finish most of this! I found this incredible vintage ledger at the thrift store last month. It has light blue thin pages, perfect for drawing. The date on the side is 1866!

Not sure if it's authentically that old but it sure is cool to think your sketchbook is from the 1800's. I love the marble sides and creepy cover.

I finally received this amazing book by Valerie L. Winslow. You can never have enough anatomy books. This is a really gorgeously drawn one with tons of in depth instruction.

I found this gorgeous laura Ashley dress today. It's pretty long like most I've seen in the past. So I decided to alter it to a Puff dress by sewing the hem along the waist line underneath. These are some styling ideas for some of my future ebay listings. I'm keeping the Laura Ashley though:)

This is a concept I sketched this summer during the night of the eclipse. I knew it would be a winter illustration so I didn't work on it until recently. I found this incredible jacket at painted bird in SF. It's a shiny reptile texture with elastic between panels. The real color is a dark navy, but I exaggerated the colors for the illustration.
